Location for our film
For our film the locations for our film we would like to use is either forty foot park in Leatherhead but using the forest part maybe to have a chase scene or action scene when a character could fall easily to add comedy to the film or same setting in Ashtead. Also a headquarters for the hero for the comedy value and the villians hideout will be in a forest to add a creepy effect.

Mask for the hero
in all superhero films there is a hero with a 'secret identity' and to keep this secret identity the hero will need a mask (conor has found this mask). This type of mask is amateurish and this is a bonus to our film but could be seen as bad because it could look to amateur but i think it will look good in our film and will play to the comedy side to the film.

Clothing for film.
For the film we would like to use thermal tops/tight tops to add a comical feature to our film add pillows to make us looks fatter and this will make our superhero comedy more of a comedy. We are doing this because in normal superhero films you see the hero being very stereotypical male hero with the perfect body abdominals and pecs in our films we won't have anywhere near the perfect bodies.

Foot wear for the film.
In superhero films the foot wear is quite serious they always wear army type boots to protect them when fighting crime , so we thought that wearing wellies would be suitable for our superhero comedy so that the hero might not be able to run properly or climb wall well enough for the superhero quality so in our film the hero could fall and find normal things and challenge.
Film idea: superhero comedy
For our film idea me Alex and Conor have chosen to do a superhero comedy this kind of genre will consist of a lot of cliches and will set a hard challenge for us to achieve. In our film we have Conor and Alex as the 'batman and robin' combination because then we can use them as a stereotypical hero combo that we can take and fool about with the costumes e.g. The transport shoes trousers tips and masks and for the evil villain that's me and we are also gonna go for a kind of east European cliche villain and with this we can also play around with the character even have a cat on my lap being stroked as I say 'I've been expecting you' which is a classic villain cliched line. The setting we want to be a bit spooky when you don't know what's about to come out the corner and that anything could happen like in the woods in Leatherhead or ashtead.
kick ass trailer
This trailer has the kind of message that i would like to send to our target audience which would be teenagers. the genre we have chosen ( me alex and conor) is superhero comedy we chose this because we think it would be fun to do and not too easy so it would cause a bit of a challenge which we would like instead of doing something easy. In the trailer for kick ass it shows that it is a superhero comedy by the guy jumping off the buliding which you think will fly but then it turns out he is a superhero wanna be like the rest of the city there are a lot of superhero wanna be's like in real life when you want to be just like spiderman or batman this comes across.

Media 180 shot
In this short clips me alex and conor demonstrate the 180 rule that we learnt that day. the one 180 rule consists of maybe a few clips of the same conversation being videod and edited and put together to make it look like one smooth convosation but infact it is actually lots of clips put together and to do this you can use one camera to edit it together you need to make sure that the area around the cip is always constant.
X-men first class
at the beginning of x-men first class there is a concentration camp with slow dark music this sets and bad feeling to the scene and the audience can pick up on that it is a very bad place. Then we see a boy getting split up with his mother but they get over powered as the mother gets put behind a gate then this young boy reaches out and starts screaming with anger , the angle shot is slightly a low angled shot to show he could be quite powerful then he bends the gate with his special power and then the boys gets knocked out by an older man. The boy speaks as he is very frightened because this cruel man. Mis-en-scene in this is very affective because it is dark which makes the audience feel the tension in the scene , the man that shoots his mum is behind a big desk wearing Nivea nice suit which shows his importance and shows he is in charge of this disgusting camp which indicates his dark nature.

Seven pounds opening two minutes
In the opening two minutes of seven pounds there is will smith playing the lead role of the film crying on the phone showing his venerability , he calls the police because he reports a suicide that he will kill himself. The films narration by will is quite powerful
Saying that he is a broken man he isn't like a stereotype of a male. When he calls the company selling him 'dog food' he is shown to the audience as aggressive and showing his dominance over this other male on the phone dealing with the situation, will is also in a suit which shows he has authority and is powerful by his smart appearance. He starts to insult the person representing the meat company , as he gives his name to the company a voice of a robot says no order for Ben Thompson which will picks up on and starts to insult him
As a blind meat sales man who doesn't eat meat and becomes outraged also will starts to question the company representative man hood by asking if he has had sex before this upsets the guy and the aggressive stereotypical male is shown which is the opposite of what the audience see at the begging of the film. The close ups of wills face is used a lot in the opening two minutes of the film which is used effectively to show the emotion of his face as it changes a lot an to get the audience to sympathise with his character as his is an emotional wreak filled with anger and spite.

RED
The opening two minutes of red consists of an old retired agent living a normal live and being normal around the community also he talks about getting his life backs which shows how caught up in his work he was. He has phone call with a sexy women operating a phone at her work but this couple had not met before and he is determined to get after her and be with her and lie a normal life no matter what. The ex-agent's house gets broken into randomly and then he defeats the enemy with ease to show a stereotypical male being strong and powerful.

i had to make a short film to try to use different angles and different camera shots.i had to try to make it believeable to the audience i tried to do this with the effects i tried to use with william huck.Firstly we tried to find different places to film and shared ideas about what kind of message we wanted to send across to the audience. The scene is set in the corridor in a school where 2 kids are running to get a boy as they are bullies for this beggining bit of the clip we used a long shot as the characters ran past the camera this sends a message to the audience that it is a chase scene but i dont like in this scene that the audience might think that the character further back player by conor looking like he is chasing the other character where as we didnt put it across in that way which was bad of us.The next part of the scene was an over the shoulder shot of whats meant to be the victim of the bullying but we had the character playing the victim on the stairs which portrays him as the biggest person as he gets confroted by the bullys the bully who is lower down doesnt look threatening which the audience will pick up on.

Comedy cliches and conventions
All comedy films have their own conventions to abide by and their own fomula, for example in adam sandler films they have a very familier formula which works, which is sandler will have to do a sport or adventure to get through and on the way meet a girl and win her and her heart and will live happily ever after, like in the films waterboy , happy gilmore and billy madison. other cliches in comedy are people always falling over and getting hurt which the audience finds as a guilty pleasure to laugh at someone being hurt, also someones hair in the comedy films mostly catches on fire which is hard to put out. There is also always a distraction from a girl and how the guy will go out of his way no matter what to save her or win her heart back normally its someone being hurt that brings them closer together.
Romance conventions and cliches
In romance films there are a lot of predictable cliches in them for example the boy and the girl falling in love and being teh perfect couple also the guy that the audience doesnt want the girl to be with is a common cliches. Some thing always gets in the way of the good (seen as weaker guy) beating the bigger stronger and more attractive guy which the audience gets to hate.Always in the end they end up together after an argument or someone having to go someone maybe a new job in france which would ruin the romance but in the end somehow they will end up together and there will be a happy ending, the weaker guy tries to show his affection but doesnt get noticed and is invisable to the girls that are out of his league.
Horror convention and cliches and different types of horror.
There are different types of horror like mainstream horror and an example of this is jeepers creepers also there is vampire like dracular ,zombie like 28 days later , asian horror the ring goreography like saw and slasher halloween. there are a lot of cliches in horror films like someone always dying mostly the females who is portrayed as weak. Another cliches is glimpses of fear like the audience knows that the villian is about or seeing a ghost in the mirror behind then turning around around and it has gone, and jumpy moments e.g. creepy music which to the audience indicates what is going on in the film as something big will happen.
The is always a bathroom scene where either someone washes their faces in the sink and then pops their face up to someone behind them in a mirror. The places that people are killed are also cliches like the basement scences which is a creepy lonly area or even in the woods and places when they are alone.
